Located along the Telaga Waja River in Sidemen, Karangasem—an area renowned for its terraced rice fields and natural beauty—this project is deeply rooted in the surrounding landscape. The landscape design plays a central role in shaping the experience, embracing the site’s natural contours through thoughtful terracing that echoes the local farming tradition. Natural water flow across the site is preserved and celebrated, becoming an integral design feature that enhances both ecological value and sensory experience. The use of bamboo architecture complements this approach, allowing the built environment to merge organically with the riverside setting, creating a seamless dialogue between nature, structure, and land.
