Where Nature Leads the Design in Every Layer

This bamboo eco-resort features a landscape design by MBLA Studio that blends sustainability, beauty, and function through a strong permaculture approach. Aiming for a zero carbon footprint, the design maximizes the use of local materials, both in hardscape and softscape, while promoting ecological harmony. The resort includes edible gardens with a rich mix of fruits, vegetables, and staple crops like rice, supporting its very own cooking school. One of the most exciting features is the natural pool, which uses recycled water from a wastewater garden, offering both sustainability and aesthetic appeal. Complementing this is an open gutter system functioning as a swale, providing natural drainage during the rainy season. The garden design emphasizes native plant species, including fruit trees and shade trees, creating a vibrant, self-sustaining environment that enhances the guest experience while caring for the planet.
